Dear Child-Friendly Volunteers,
We have successfully held the 14th Child-Friendly Congress, a scientific feast encompassing a wide range of topics. On this path of scientific progress, we have once again realized the potential of our collaboration and the joy of being together.
I sincerely thank all the speakers, session chairs, and attendees, you, our valued child-friendly volunteers.
This year, we chose "Children and Kindness: Changing the Future" as the main theme of our congress.
We believe that we, as adults, must make our children, to whom we entrust our future, feel the power of kindness and emphasize that the seeds of love that sprout from kindness in our lands will always be necessary for the whole world.
Children and kindness are two beautiful concepts to be mentioned together.
In this congress, we also held the 3rd Euroasian Pediatrics Congress together with valuable speakers and participants from Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Albania. We evaluated the work being done to improve child health in these countries with our colleagues and friends, and established collaborations for the future. We evaluated the scientific and social projects we will undertake together in the future.
We wanted to include artistic activities alongside the scientific celebration at our congress as much as possible. This year, we were happy to host the Istanbul TRT Children's Choir again at our congress. Our children touched our hearts with their voices. We exhibited the winning paintings from our Painting Competition for Children in Hospital at our congress. We wanted to touch upon the artistic side of medicine with the art of Ebru (Turkish marbling).
We sincerely thank all our volunteers who provided their support and wish to see you, our valued Child-Friendly Volunteers, at our next congress.
With the hope of being together in the future.
Sincerely,
On behalf of the Congress Organizing Committee
Prof. Dr. Ali Bülbül
