RULES FOR SUPPORT TO SCIENTIFIC PROJECTS

AIM:
This Directive has been prepared to regulate the procedures and principles regarding the evaluation, acceptance, support, the execution and monitoring of services related to the scientific research project proposals from researchers working in the field of Child Health and Diseases, by the Board of Directors.

BASE:
According to the decision to support scientific research projects, taken at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Children’s Friends Association on 12^th November 2018.

DEFINITIONS:
The applications will be evaluated by the Board of Directors. Projects with scientific content that are expected to contribute to the technological, economic, social and cultural development of the country, training scientists, establishment and development of research infrastructure, which can be carried out with the participation of the national and/or international institutes or organizations, will be evaluated.

PROJECT APPLICATION
Project applications are submitted with the “Project Application Form”, which includes the project’s unique value, justification, priority, widespread impact, budget and personnel data in detail. Studies with ethical approval will be evaluated.

PROJECT PROTOCOL
A protocol is signed by the President of the Children's Friends Association and the executives of the projects to be supported. Project managers are obliged to comply with all subjects specified in the protocol.The start date of the projects is accepted as the date the protocol is signed. Executives of accepted projects are required to submit the documents determined and announced according to the project type to the Board of Directors. Projects that do not sign the protocol within 3 months after the approval of the project or that do not start within 6 months after the signing of the protocol without a legal excuse will be canceled.

PUBLICATION OF PROJECT RESULTS
In all kinds of theses and publications carried out within the scope of supported projects, “This work was supported by the Children’s Friend Association. Project Number: …”) or a similar phrase must be present.

SUPPORT AMOUNT
The amount of support to be provided according to the project types is determined by the Board of Directors each year.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS
HAt the end of each year, summary information about the supported, covered, ongoing and completed projects are provided to the members of the Children’s Friends Association.

Supported projects are announced to the public via the internet.
